BETTER TOGETHER

Simply put, we are better together. When we choose to embrace a shared vision and mission, we know that our own local church is living out the Great Commission. Together, we are making disciples locally, regionally, across our nation, and to the outermost parts of the earth.

Truly, we are better together.

 CONSTITUTIONS

A Constitutions is a legal document that is required in order for a non-profit to incorporate. To be registered as a charity, an organization must have purposes that are exclusively charitable and conduct activities that further those purposes. The Canada Revenue Agency looks at these when deciding if an organization can register a charity.

LOCAL CHURCH CONSTITUTION TEMPLATE (LCC)

Affiliated churches are encouraged to utilize the Local Church Constitution template (.doc) found on the PAOC website as the governing Constitution and By-laws of the church. This document can be customized for a local church by following the instructions included at the beginning of the document. Churches that wish to be governed by a governing document other than the Local Church Constitution template or wish to make amendments other than those approved at the biennial General Conference of The PAOC must seek approval from the ABNWT District.

Request for approval should be submitted in advance of presenting the Constitution or Constitutional amendments to the congregation for approval.
