Governance

Local Church Constitution

Affiliated churches are encouraged to utilize the Local Church Constitution template as the governing constitution and by-laws of the church. This document can be customized for a local church by following the instructions included at the end of the document. Churches that wish to be governed by a document other than the Local Church Constitution or wish to make amendments other than those approved at the biennial General Conference of The PAOC must seek approval from the District Office.  Request for approval should be submitted in advance of presenting the constitution or constitutional amendments to the congregation for approval.
