District Town Hall meetings regarding the Fresh Direction presentation made at the 2011 District Conference are now on. We hope you are able to attend one of three meetings scheduled to hear more about the "Fresh Direction" proposal. For those unable to attend, the District will be providing a live webcast of the presentation in Edmonton on Thursday, October 20th from West Edmonton Christian Assembly. The Town Hall meetings are an opportunity for credential holders and laity to hear more and discuss the proposed framework for pastoral care & governance that is intended to reflect two vital goals: 1) A stronger network of pastoral care for credential holders, and 2) A governance structure that has greater focus on vision and strategy. For webcast viewers, there will be an opportunity to email questions to Town Hall presenters.
The meetings will run from 1:30 - 4:30 PM and are scheduled for the following dates & locations: Tuesday, October 18th at the Calgary Dream Center (4510 Macleod Trail South); Thursday, October 20th at West Edmonton Christian Assembly (6315 - 199 St.); and Tuesday, October 25th at The Oasis Church (10126 - 101 Ave.) in Grande Prairie.
