This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. Many churches will celebrate the gift of Holy Spirit to empower Christ’s followers to be witnesses of Him.
As I meet with potential and current PAOC Credential Holders, I have discovered, that some have confusion and misunderstanding about what we as a fellowship believe on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Our sister fellowship, The Assemblies God in the USA, has developed an excellent position paper (attached below) that unpacks this spiritual and doctrinal distinctive in our faith community.
At the end of this paper, a section provides PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF SPIRIT BAPTISM, with specific sections on Continuing Evidences of Spirit Baptism and Encouragement for Those Not Yet Baptized.
